【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoverstheclassificationofrubber-gradecarbonblacksbytheuseofafour-characternomenclaturesystem.Thefirstcharactergivessomeindicationoftheinfluenceofthecarbonblackontherateofcureofatypicalrubbercompoundcontainingtheblack.Thesecondcharactergivesinformationontheaveragesurfaceareaofthecarbonblack.Thelasttwocharactersareassignedarbitrarily.1.2Allrubber-gradecarbonblacksforwhichanumberiscurrentlyassignedatthetimeofpublicationofthisclassificationsystemarelistedinTable1togetherwithsomeoftheirtypicalproperties.ASTMclassificationnumbers(x201C;Nx201D;orx201C;Sx201D;designation)notlistedinTable1haveeitherbeenwithdrawnorarenotcurrentlyassigned.TheuseofinactiveorunassignedNorSdesignationsisprohibiteduntilsuchatimeasthedesignationisofficiallyreactivatedorassignedbySubcommitteeD24.411.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
