【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodofdetermining,onastatisticalbasis,theprobabilityoftheexistenceofhydrogenembrittlementordegradationin:a)abatchofbarrelelectroplated,autocatalyticplated,phosphatedorchemicallyprocessedthreadedarticles;b)abatchofrackplatedthreadedarticlesorrods.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletothreadedarticlesandrodmadefromsteelwithanactualtensilestrength≥1000MPa(correspondinghardnessvalues:300HV,303HBor31HRC)ortosurface-hardenedthreadedarticlesorrods.Itisnotapplicabletofasteners.Thetestmethodiscarriedoutafterhydrogenembrittlementreliefheattreatmentandmayalsobeusedforassessingdifferencesinprocessingsolutions,conditionsandtechniques.Thetestmethodhastwomainfunctions:a)whenusedwithastatisticalsamplingplanitcanbeusedforlotacceptanceorrejection;b)itcanbeusedasacontroltesttodeterminetheeffectivenessofthevariousprocessingstepsincludingpre-andpost-bakingtreatmentstoreducethemobilehydrogeninthearticlesorrod.Althoughthetestmethodiscapableofindicatingthosearticlesthatareembrittledtotheextentdefinedinclause2,itdoesnotguaranteecompletefreedomfromembrittlement.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotrelievetheplater,processorormanufacturerfromimposingandmonitoringsuitableprocesscontrol.NOTE1Theuseofinhibitorsinacidpicklingbathsdoesnotnecessarilyguaranteeavoidanceofhydrogenembrittlement.NOTE2AnnexAprovidesguidanceonsourcesofintroductionofhydrogenintothreadedarticles.
