【摘要】:ThisAmericanNationalStandarddefinestermsforcertainbasicfeaturesofsingle-pointcuttingtools.Itdealswiththosefeatureswhicharenecessarytodefinethegeometryofthecuttingpart.Thefirstmainsection(section4)definesgeneraltermsapplicabletosingle-pointtools,includingsurfacesontheworkpiece,toolelementscertainspecificdimensionsandtoolandworkpiecemotions.Inthesubsequentsectionstwosystemsofreferenceplanesaredefinedwiththeaidofwhichso-calledtooanglesandworkinganglesaredefined.Onesystemofreferenceplanesisthetool-in-handsystem;thisisusedtodefinethegeometryofthetoolsothatitcanbemanufacturedandmeasured.Theothersystemofreferenceplanes,thetoo-in-usesystem,isrequiredtodefinetheeffectivegeometryofthetoolwhenitisactuallyperformingacuttingoperation.
